As a creative writer, meditation has aided me immensely in tapping into deeper and more profound levels of free-flowing creativity. Now more than ever, thousands of distractions vie for our attention through consumer culture and social media. The result is often stress, anxiety, and endless distractions. When I began my own meditative journey, I wanted to find a specific medium that would allow me to let go of all these external distractions, and more deeply access my true, creative nature. The true me! Meditation has impacted me as a writer in such profound ways, aiding in better focus, more relaxed states of mind, and more words written.
I couldn't keep this valuable tool to myself: I began to share meditations and affirmation sessions on my YouTube channel with my friends and followers. I was so amazed and touched to see how these meditations and affirmations were actually creating a powerful impact and helping writers to create with precision, focus, and peace - and from a place of BLISSFUL FLOW!
Fast forward a bit... and here we are. A 7 day journey, mindfully designed and curated for writers. Each day we're going to get together, sit (or lie down) on the floor, breath deeply, let go, and I am going to guide you through a peaceful meditation. Each day we'll bring in a new focus, and invite a powerful, writer-specific mantra. In the welcome session, I am also going to share some things/tools that have really helped me to find deeper tranquility in my meditative sessions, and truly make the most of this special and sacred time.
